Overall wellness is what I strive for with each client that I work with. I pride myself on being able to help clients identify their strengths and transform them into strategies. I view the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist as that of a team. And when we work together, we all win!
I am uniquely qualified to work with parents who have experienced the loss of a child. Having experienced this in August 2018, I understand that this is a pain that no parent should ever feel. Let me help you work through the feelings that come with such a devastating loss. I have a strong faith in God and welcome the opportunity to incorporate aspects of spirituality into the therapeutic process.
Traumatic experiences from our past can make us feel as though we are being held hostage. I work from a trauma informed perspective and can help you to “break free.” I also view the process from a holistic perspective and my motto is “Healing the Whole You.”
I also enjoy facilitating psychosocial and supportive groups for both children and adults. Some of my experience includes working with depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, ADHD and PTSD. I am great with children and incorporate aspects of play and art therapy in order to help them tell their story.
