Camilla Shakespeare
Camilla Shakespeare was born and raised in Jamaica and emigrated to the United States of America in 2010. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas and Maryland, Red Cross CPR certified, and a Master Resilience trainer who resides in Maryland. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a Masters in Social work in December 2022.
She has worked with a variety of individuals as a crisis counselor, a case manager / special needs coordinator and a clinic Patient Advocate. As a resilience trainer she uses her skills to help others build self-awareness to facilitate a strengths-based approach to therapy. She is a clinician who believes in giving grace and viewing each situation from a systems-based perspective. She fosters a safe and open environment for clients to comfortably discuss the stressors in their lives and ways to navigate changes in order to get to a positive outcome.
She provides therapy for individuals, families and groups of varying ages and backgrounds.
