RoseLee has a love of learning and is actively pursuing training in the areas of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), narrative therapy, and trauma-informed care (TIC). Her therapeutic style incorporates a mixture of these modalities and principles, relying heavily on motivational interviewing to ensure her clients feel empowered to make decisions and change the trajectory of their own lives.
RoseLee’s therapeutic style is largely based on the understanding that: “Life brings with it a set of challenges that you can adapt to at your own pace. And, that seeking out support means that you are ready to make a change, for the better. You are expressing a willingness to trust not only in me, but in yourself, and in the change that the therapeutic process can bring forth.”
RoseLee specializes in working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual trauma, anxiety and depression, phase of life changes, life stressors, divorce, and loss and separation.
Fun Fact: RoseLee is a heritage language learner of Portuguese and picked up Spanish along the way. She says that her language skills are so so, but good enough to get by!
